From start to finish, each instrument is a custom operation. I work with my customers to identify what they're looking for, provide recommendations, and give them an overview of the build process. We cover everything from types of wood, body and neck shapes, electronics, finishes, and hardware. Once I have an idea for the work, I provide a detailed invoice that outlines the cost of materials along with a quote for labor. Once we've settled on a price it sticks, unless the customer modifies the order. The customer pays 1/3 up front, 1/3 at delivery, and 1/3 within one month of delivery. That means we both have incentive to make sure the instrument is exactly what's needed.
